Coach Kenny
I started running when I moved to New York City in 2001. Slowly becoming more interested in long-distance running, I joined Team in Training in 2011, and that’s when I trained for my first marathon, the New Jersey Marathon in spring 2011. Since 2011, I have completed more than 20 marathons and an ultra.
Running has morphed from a goal to a way of life. Running has introduced community and helped to ride life’s challenges. I like discovering new routes in the city.
I started coaching in 2019. My motto in running is to be consistent, not only in running, but also in cross-training and rest days. Also, don’t be afraid to push, because from pushing, one will learn from the successes/challenges. This is what I try to instill in my coaching.
